Protea in Watercolour Workshop (Beginner-Friendly)

Dip your toes into the more traditional realm of watercolour painting with a beautiful study of one of South Africa’s most iconic blooms — the Protea.

In this morning workshop, I’ll guide you through a demonstration of essential watercolour techniques, focusing on layering, colour blending, and capturing the delicate textures of petals and leaves. After the demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to paint your own Protea with guidance and support throughout the session.

All materials are included, and the session is open to both beginners and those wanting to refine their botanical watercolour skills. Whether you’re joining for the love of florals or looking to expand your technique, this will be a focused yet relaxed morning of painting in a supportive environment.

Terms & conditions with regards missed sessions.

As materials, resources and time are allocated to your booking, as well as the space provisioned for which could hinder an alternate booking, we will not accept cancellation refund requests within 7 days of the session unless a replacement can be found in time. Cancellation made 7 or more days prior the session will be credited towards a future equivalent session if applicable (medical/family emergency etc). When you are enrolled in a 4 week block, or other ongoing session, depending on circumstances you may be able to be accommodated in a catch up session if there is one planned in the calendar, otherwise the portion allocated to that session will be forfeited. Any resource material will be provided to you digitally for you to complete the project in your time. Concessions may be considered for extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of Hey Sweet Art.
